  2. This is a suggested guide to help students keep up with work on their projects. To be successful, students should follow a regular schedule and turn in a one-page project description, research notes, bibliography, and revisions on a regular basis. If everything is left to the “last minute,” chances of success are limited.

  3. September • Topic Selection • One-fourth of notes completed

  4. October • Three-fourths of notes completed • All sources read and all notes completed • Bibliography due • Project proposal outline

  5. November • Final project, bibliography, one- or two-page project summary due

  6. December until Regional Fair • Fine-tune your final project • Double-check summary for spelling, grammar, and length • Double-check performance, documentary, and website for length of presentation • Be sure you register ON TIME
