Phishing is a way of attempting to acquire information (and sometimes, indirectly, money) such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by concealed as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. So, next time if you receive an email that require you to provide username and password, don’t respond. Delete the email because your username and password are exclusively belong to you.
