1. Metrocom Youth Association PRESENTS 11th ANNUAL YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER CAMP Sunday May 4, 2014, 1PM TO 6 PM D.W. RUTLEDGE STADIUM (JUDSON HIGH SCHOOL) 900 S. Seguin Rd -- Converse, Texas 78109 Metrocom Youth Association (MYA), is a non-profit organization, sponsoring a one-day football camp for boys and girls ages 5-13 and cheerleading camp for boys and girls ages 3-15 at D.W. Rutledge Stadium. The camp is designed as a fun day of football and cheerleading and to allow children to learn various skills from a group of experienced youth coaches who have won many TYFA, AAU, and NAJIFF Football and Cheer City, State, and National Championships during the past eleven seasons. It is also a thrilling opportunity to practice at one of the most historic and best-known facilities in Texas High School Football History. Camp will take place rain or shine. This is a non-contact camp. Please wear shorts and T-shirts. Football campers are encouraged to wear cleats. Non-metal baseball or soccer cleats will work if you do not have football cleats. Sneakers will work for cheerleaders and for football players who do not have cleats. COST: Camp is only $20, but space is limited to the first 180 football players and 100 cheerleaders who sign up. Pre-registration forms must be received in M.Y.A. P.O. Box 895 by Saturday, April 26. All pre-registered campers will be guaranteed a spot. Please report to field between 11:30 – 12:30 to check in. Walk-ups will be welcomed if spots are still available. NO REFUNDS. You can also purchase a camp T-shirt for an additional $10. T-shirts must be ordered in advance. A nutritional snack & beverage will be provided at break time. Water will be available all day. Please feed your child a balanced breakfast or lunch prior to attending the camp.
