  2. OTUC R3.0 Pre-Sales Training Status • All Alcatel SE’s were trained on the OTUC R2.0 Offer in April 2004. These courses included 7 Partner SE’s (3 VZ, 4 RG) who were also trained on the OTUC R2.0. • For the SE’s who attended the OTUC R2.0 course, the upgrade to R3.0 will be provided during the 9th NASE Meeting in July (13th – 15th). • For the SE’s who did NOT attend the OTUC R2.0 course, two full OTUC R3.0 courses are being provided this week (Calabasas 7th & 8th and Salem 10th & 11th). There are 9 partner SE’s registered for these courses (7 VZ, 2 RG).

  3. New Pre-Sales Training Curriculum • OmniPCX Enterprise Newcomers – Reduced the total number of training days from 20 to 14 days where 85% of the curriculum is based on e-Learning. • OmniPCX Enterprise Experienced SE’s – under discussion. • The first module for newcomers (PS600) is already scheduled for the week of July 19th (2 partners are already registered). • It covers the equivalent of PS500 (5 days) and OmniTouch Basic (5 days) courses in 4 days v-Learning and 12Hrs of I-Learning. • The announcement to the partners will be made during the month of June 2004 through eFlashes and Conference Calls. • A proposal is currently under discussion to replace the Partner Mentoring by the New Pre-Sales Training Curriculum. The main concern from the Channel Team is about removing the formal F2F interaction between the Alcatel and partner SE’s. Feedback??

  4. Pre-Sales Certification Status • All Alcatel SE’s have passed the AQPS Test. • A AQPS Beta-Test will be conducted to 15 partner SE’s during the month of June 2004. • The official launching of the Pre-Sales Certification Program to all partner SE’s will be synchronized with the New Pre-Sales Training Curriculum. • The next Certification Level (AQPS) is currently under construction in France and will cover the OmniPCX Networking and Applications. • The launching will be done in two steps: Firstly the Alcatel SE’s and Secondly the Partner SE’s. • Timeline under discussion.
