  2. Agenda • 15 minutes: Walkthrough of today’s additional tasks (cost report + written proposal) • 70 minutes: Work time • 5 minutes: Cleanup/Close • Tomorrow: A little more work time… then we present!

  3. Expectations • Keep working together as awesomely as you were yesterday! • Stay in your seat unless you’ve been given permission to go get something.

  5. Chunky Table You will add up all of these.

  6. Finally… • After adding up the total squares in each chunk… • 5) Multiply by the number of feet in each square. (So if each square was five feet by five feet, multiply by five.) • 6) Multiply that by $350 dollars—the average cost per square foot of a new school. • BAZING. You know how much your school will cost.

  7. Written Proposal 1) Introduction: • Attention getter (start us out!) • Inform us of the name, mission statement, etc. • Preview the three reasons why you should win. 2-4) Body paragraphs: Each paragraph needs… • - Assertion: The reason why your school should win the Construction Contract • - Evidence: Back up your claim with evidence from your group’s project. (Use the illustrations, 3D model, and floor plan as evidence.) • - Commentary: How the evidence supports the assertion. 5) Conclusion: • End awesomely and explain why your group should win!
