Progress (Q1/2007) • Vault clean up ongoing • Troubleshooting any software issues • Preparing any computer in need of Engineering software installation(s), to be on network, etc. • Engineering software cost for 10/06-10/07 is ≈ $22,500 • This includes initial costs acquired through new licenses and re-management of previous software licenses. • The annual cost for Engineering software maintenance/upgrades etc. is ≈ $19,370 • This does not include initial software purchase costs, or the change in the ANSYS licensing cost that reoccurs every year. • ANSYS license is ≈ $8977 for 10/06-10/07, ≈ $17,954 for 10/07-10/08, ≈ $26,931 for 10/08-10/09. This will continue until the number of needed licenses/seats are acquired. • The current number of licenses/seats (≈ 30) is kept until the number of licenses is acquired, then resets to that number. As of right now, 2-3 licenses/seats are sought after. LBT Q1 2007 Engineering Review
