Timeline for Rollover • The mCLASS system will be shut down on May 30th. • Rollover will be on June 1st and 2ndfor the entire State. • June 3rddistricts may begin to set up the mCLASS system for the 2014-15 school year. • Enter new Kindergarten students with a temporary State ID number • Update Staff Rosters • Enter K-3 Plus ID numbers

Benchmark Testing Windows for 2014-15 • Beginning of Year (BOY) • First 15 days of instruction • Middle of Year (MOY) • January 5-23 • End of Year (EOY) • April 27 – May 15 • NOTE: PED has extended all windows to three weeks this year in an effort to accommodate district needs. We do not encourage window extensions.

Required data captured in mCLASS • During the Benchmark Window • DIBELS Next measures according to grade level and time of year. • Burst Vocabulary • Outside the Benchmark Window (Progress Monitoring) • Well Below Benchmark Students – Every two weeks • Below Benchmark – Once per month • Benchmark – Twice each semester

  6. Required Identifiers in mCLASS • State ID is required. • Kindergarten students should be given a temporary State ID until they receive the official State ID. • District ID is optional. • School ID is optional. • K-3 Plus ID is required. • Create the K-3 Plus ID by adding K3 in front of the State ID. • For example: • State ID is: 123456789 • K-3 Plus ID is: K3123456789
