  2. What is CANCER Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body. Cancer develops when the body’s normal control mechanism stops working. Old cells do not die and instead grow out of control, forming new, abnormal cells. These extra cells may form a mass of tissue, called a tumor. Some cancers, such as leukemia, do not form tumors.

The sequence of therapy depends on the stage of the disease.

  6. Cervix Cancer • What is cervix cancer This is cancer of mouth of the uterus. This is second most common cancer in women. • What are symptoms of Cervix Cancer These include excessive bleeding during or in between menstrual cycle, bleeding after sexual intercourse, post-menopausal bleeding, pain in back, pain in lower abdomen. • How Cervix Cancer is diagnosed Cervix cancer is diagnosed with tests like Biopsy. • What is treatment of Cervical Cancer Treatment depends on the stage of disease but in most of the stages of cervical cancer the Radiation Therapy is best treatment. Rarely surgery may be needed for treatment of cervical cancer.

The chances of prostate cancer increases as age increases • Symptoms of Prostate Cancer These include frequent urination, weak or interrupted urine flow or the need to strain to empty the bladder, the urge to urinate frequently at night, blood in the urine, Pain or burning during urination, which is much less common. • How to diagnose Prostate Cancer Diagnosis is made by biopsy. Serum PSA level is often increased in prostate cancer.   10. Radiation Therapy Radiation therapy is the use of radioactive rays like x rays, gamma rays and electrons to kill cancer cells. There are different types of radiation therapy like Conventional Radiation Therapy, 3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, Stereotactic radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radio surgery, Brach therapy.
