HIEC……to AHSN • Wessex HIEC (Health Innovation and Education Cluster) started in 2010 as a new vehicle for supporting and spreading adoption of innovation in the NHS care services. • www.wessexhiecpartnership.org.uk • Telehealth/care will change future health and care services …..but how? One of the HIEC’s challenges. • A new Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) is being formed which will develop the HIEC role

Introductory course on telehealth and telecare Your invitation to a free interactive training course on Tuesday, 16th October 2012, 0930 to 1700 (lunch provided) Hartley Suite, University of Southampton CPD This course will provide an introduction to the subjects of telecare and telehealth. Examples of the potential uses will be covered along with ethical, practical and operational considerations. There will be a follow up session on Thursday, 8th November at 0930-1300 also in the Hartley Suite as above. Who should attend?
