  8. Think ABOUT… HOW WILL YOU GET THERE? You’re the last to leave the lunch table and it’s a mess. You’re assigned to work in a group with someone you don’t get along with.

  9. Study Skills… or LIE TRUTH It’s better to study right after school instead of late at night. Find a different place to study each day. LIE TRUTH Grades don’t matter in middle school. Do your most difficult homework first. LIE TRUTH

  10. What study and organization habits do you currently have? I get to school and class on time. I use a planner to write down assignments for each class. I ask the teacher questions if I don’t understand. I turn off the phone, TV, and other distractions when I’m studying. I use color folders or binders to organize papers for each subject. What’s something else you do? What habit will you try this week?

  11. Think ABOUT… INVESTING IN YOURSELF. “It will be easier to pay for college if you start learning how to earn, spend, save – and invest money.”

  12. If you make $20 a week and want to buy a $160 phone, how many weeks will it take to earn that money? 8 8 20 160 8 = weeks 2 months or Hint… There are about 4 weeks in a month.
