It is a dish made of sour cabbage and minced meat. • Ingredients1 large head cabbage1 lb. ground beef1/2 lb. ground pork1/2 lb. ground ham1 c. cooked rice 2 eggs1 c. chopped onion1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper1/4 tsp. garlic saltWater to cover2 lb. bag or large jar sauerkraut, with juice

  13. SerbiaSarma Recipe • Sautébacon and onion until bacon is done. Beat eggs and add salt, pepper, paprika, ground beef, pork and ham. Add bacon mixture and rice and mix thoroughly. Separate sour cabbage leaves and drain. • Place heaping tablespoon of stuffing at core end of each cabbage leaf and roll carefully, tucking in ends. Place rolls in layers in a big pot. Chop small unused leaves and place on top. Add enough water to cover rolls. Cover and simmer 2 to 2-1/2 hours.
