  5. 3/4 = 1/3 y ÷ 1/3 ÷ 1/3 Remember To divide fractions you SAME, CHANGE, FLIP 3/4 x 3/1 = 9/4 3/4 ÷ 1/3 y 2 1/4 = 1/3 x 9/4 = 9/12 When checking Mixed Numbers use IMPROPER FRACTIONS!!!

  6. When you see a Division problem, you can use the Multiplication Property of Equality to solve it! x = 5 X 6 X 6 6 Multiply BOTH sides to be equal! = x 30 CHECK your ANSWER to make sure it is CORRECT!!! 30 / 6 = 5

  7. x = 16 X 4 X 4 4 = x 64 64 / 4 = 16

  8. x = 11.2 X 1.5 X 1.5 1.5 = x 16.8 16.8 / 1.5 = 11.2

  9. x = 3/8 X 4 X 4 4 3/8 x 4/1 = 12/8 x = 1 1/2 12/8 ÷ 4 = 3/8
