Mobile is clearly a huge opportunity, but needs careful planning to deliver a clear return on investment. This document outlines simple and practical ways you can use Moball.   5. What is Moball? Moball is a sophisticated smart phone app that is specifically designed and developed to help marketing and communication teams. We make it easy for our partners by looking after every aspect of the setup, design, build, support and maintenance for your app. • Key features include: • Rich Push Messages: Create rich content messages to 'push’ to your app users. These can include photos, videos, links, maps & buttons. • Geo-Location Messaging: Push rich content messages to either all users or users in a particular town/area. • Geo-Fencing: Set a virtual perimeter around an event or place. Any app user in this perimeter receives the rich message instantly. • User Generated Content (UGC): Push out a message requesting content, your moderation system accepts or denies content at one click and publishes it. • User Community: Users have the option to sign in to your app. This enables them to submit and comment on content. The data collected is available for you to use. 3

The most effective apps are linked to websites and social media sites to keep them up to date for users without creating extra work. Third party sites change regularly, so if your app doesn’t change with them, the links fail to display. Our app experts work behind the scenes to keep your app working perfectly.   7. The Moball Process Here’s how it works: You provide a logo, 1 main image and links to your website. We design & build your app and send it to you for approval. After approval we publish it for Apple and Android phones. After launch, you can access our App CMS at www.moball.tv to create and send campaign messages, receive & approve content from your community and promote events etc. 5. We provide unlimited support, forever, to help you make the most of the Moball platform. 5

  8. Sub Categories From your home screen you can also create icons that can be clicked through to sub categories. This enables you to include all of the content that can be found on your website and break this content into regions/relevance to you user. 4

  9. User Generated Content (UGC) Keeping your community engaged with your events and campaigns throughout the year is obviously incredibly important. Mobile is now the easiest way to do this. Moball makes it really easy for your app users to send you a photo or video directly from your app. You can then approve the content in the Moball moderation area.   10. The Commercial Opportunities Moball have an internal advertising sales team that can sell all of your commercial opportunities within your app to relevant advertisers. The advertising revenue generated is split between us to enable you to generate a revenue stream from your app. The perfect way to enhance the user experience. 1

  11. Feature Corporate Sponsors Every page on your app has space for a sponsor. These slots can be easily changed as advertisers change artwork or bookings. The banner is clickable and links to a web address of the advertisers choice. The banner will rotate at a set time enabling a number of businesses to showcase themselves in your app. The banner appears at the bottom of every page of your app. Sponsor slots 11

  12. Top Offers Push Messaging Moball messaging is an incredibly powerful way to communicate with your app users. Our advertising sales team can create a Top Offers message which can be sent weekly to your app users. Each message can be broken into categories and when these are clicked they will display the offers for that category, once clicked the full offer will display. This enables your advertisers to reach a wide audience without bombarding them with messages. 12

  13. Push Messages from Advertisers Moball messaging is an incredibly powerful way to communicate with your app users. It’s a great tool for marketing and is sold by our advertising team as an option for your advertisers. You remain in complete control of the content and how often you allow messages to be sent, to prevent annoying your supporters. It works best when there is a clearly defined and valuable offer. 13

  14. GeoLocation Messaging A Geo Location Messaging gives you the ability to send messages to your users in certain locations or at events. Use the Moball system to identify where your users are and target them directly. The advertising team can use the Geo Location Messaging feature to deliver offers to your supporters based on their‘real world’location; perhaps offering them a special discount for a specific area. 14

  15. Geo-Fence A Geo-fence is a virtual perimeter around a real world location. They allow us to send your app users a targeted message when they enter a real world location. For example, when they arrive at a touring site. The advertising team can use the Geo-fence feature to deliver offers to your supporters based on their‘real world’location; perhaps offering them a special discount when they walk past their shop.   16. iBeacon iBeacon is an small device that is able to send rich messages via blue tooth to a smart phone that is located within its close proximity. (20cm-70m) iBeacons enable retailers and businesses to send rich push messages containing vouchers or sales messages to their app users, when they enter a store for example. The iBeacon will be stuck at the entry point of the business and will enable targeted messaging. iBeacons will only work when linked to an app that offers detailed CMS. 16
