Fast FACTS about FCCLA • Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national career and technical student organization. • FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. • Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues. • Today over 160,000 members in more than 5,400 chapters are active in 47 states, including the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

  9. Meetings in Texas • Fall District Meeting- Meet other FCCLA members from Saginaw and Chisholm and find out what FCCLA is all about! November 14, 2017 @ HCTC (Tentative) • Regional Meetings – February 21-23, 2019 - Waco, Texas. Students will participate in STAR/Proficiency Events and learn from concurrent sessions. • State Leadership Conference- April 4-6, 2019 – Dallas, Texas. Students will participate in leadership sessions, STAR/Proficiency Events, general sessions and special community service projects.

  10. National Conference June 30–July 4, 2019 – Anaheim, CA Students will participate in STAR event competitions, leadership trainings, and other activities while meeting FCCLA members from across the nation.

How do I join? • Pick up instructions to affiliate using the Membership Form Google Doc from Mrs. Metz or Mrs. Taylor. • Fill out your membership form and return it with $30.00 state and national dues (includes membership t shirt!) by Sept. 30th. • Attend the first meeting on Aug.28th at 4:30 PM in W103 (Ice Cream Party!) A makeup meeting will be held Aug. 30th at 8:30 AM in W103 (Donuts!)
