Photographic beliefs • “There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.” -  Ansel Adams • “The (photographic) negative is the equivalent of the composers score… and the print is the equivalent of the conductors performance.” -  Ansel Adams • “Yosemite Valley, to me, is always a sunrise, a glitter of green and golden wonder in a vast edifice of stone and space.   4. Milestones & Acheivements • 1916- First Yosemite family trip. First picture with a Kodak Brownie box • March 1933- met renowned photographer Alfred Stieglitz, whom mounted an exhibition for him in November of 1936 • developed the “zone system” • produced ten volumes of technical manuals on photography
