The research will utilize sources which particularly explore the topic. • The Internet of Things (IoT) • A Smart home refers to a residence or a building with equipment which can be remotely controlled and operated from any location in the world by means of Smart Devices or through a Smartphone. • Smart Home ecosystem constitutes a pack of connected gadgets with Intelligence that help them in executing the task and take necessary decisions. • Smart Homes comprise of devices that offer users comfort, security, convenience, energy efficiency and enhance smart living. • LITERATURE REVIEW • IoT has positively revolutionized how smart home dwellers interact with their home environment (Aldrich, 2003) . • The value obtained from smart homes are anchored energy overconsumption, lighting, security, media entertainment and other miscellaneous services such as E-health and Tele-medicine. • Smart homes concept is an integral part in smart cities, and is inspired by a need for safe, energy efficient and convenient home. • smart home paradigm’s real evolution and proliferation rely on End-to-End interoperability just as in the case with the conventional electrical plugs, and switches . CONCLUSION A smart home is merely beyond a house controlled by the central evaluation unit and a computer.
