  12. Business Post.. • Nominal charges, in addition to usual Postage • Charges to be paid in advance • Facility available at all Business Post centres • Bulk customers, Banks, Corporate offices are benefited • One stop solution to bulk Mailers.

  16. National Bill Mail Service • For other Districts • Minimum number 10,000 • Would be treated as 1st class articles • Tariff: -Up to 50 grams Rs.5.00 -Additional 50 grams Rs.2.00 -e-IOD service to be offered free of cost.

  18. e-Post • Greetings, Messages sent electronically • Message (printed, hand written) any language can be sent in A-4 Size paper • Messages are scanned and sent electronically (internet) by Post office • Receiving office down loads, prints and sent out for delivery • Just Rs.10/- per addressee, per page. • E-Post Corporate Service also available.

Logistics Post • A service through which we carry and deliver the heavy items(logistics) of customers from one place to another. • From Collection to distribution, storage to carriage of articles looked after by the Post Office. • Deadline delivery and quality of service is maintained. • Monitoring the delivery progress at all times possible. • Special network used for carrying and delivering packages and consignments across the nation

  24. Tariff Structure. • Tariff based on - weight, volume and distance. • Weight slab - Minimum 50 kg. • For each consignment, a docket fee of Rs 100/-  is payable in addition to other charges.

  25. Logistics Post Air services • Three India Post exclusive aircrafts touching major towns, providing overnight service to the customers. • Apart from carrying mails and Speed Post, the aircrafts carry Express Logistics consignments. • Special Emphasis on North Eastern Sector.

Miscellaneous work in BD • The targets in various BD products should be properly fixed among Divisions. • Ensure prompt receipt of ‘Business Performance Report’ and keep watch over the achievement of targets periodically. • Ensure that Marketing Executives in the Divisions are taking interest in marketing India Post products/ Services.
