  2. Civil Rights Movement Project • Utilize primary documents from the civil rights era • Construct document-based questions • Develop a speech defending a social topic they feel passionate about.

Relevance Healy’s Research Has on our Project (AHS) • Impacted how we approached our project visually (not too flashy or distracting) • Helped us to create quality questions that make students reflect on information • We followed the suggestion of incorporating technology with other elements (not all web-based; also writing prompts, and oral presentation)
