  3. What was built at Saqqara, and what is Saqqara famous for? • Saqqara is most famous for King Djoser’s Step Pyramid, known as “The Step Pyramid at Saqqara”. • There were 2 types of structures at Saqqara, one being the all-to-famous pyramid, and mastabas

  4. Who was buried at Saqqara, and what was UNDER Saqqara? • The Kings buried at Saqqara are the following: [King Djoser, King Unas, King Sekhemkhet, and King Pepi II] • If you dug beneath Saqqara, you would find not just tombs, but also galleries and robber shafts!!
