  2. What are Resources? • Resources are items that may be checked in and out of your Center(s) and lent to students. The borrowing these resources at your center(s) can be tracked, recorded, and the data collected can be displayed through Reports. Your center(s) may have available textbooks, calculators, laptops, even tablets or iPads that students may utilize during their visit.

  3. Overview • Creating Resources • Resource Setting • Search Resources • Checking Resources In/Out • Reserving Resources • Emailing • Report on Resources

  4. Creating Resources • Barcode • Type • Title • Description • Key Words • Max days or time out • Always Available *ex.100 towels

  5. Resources Settings • Log Resource Box • Allow User to Log Resources in and out • Allow User to view logged out items on log listing • Allow Users to Manage Resources • Types

  6. Search Resources • Resources Listing • Search from Trac Navigation • Enter Titles, barcodes, or keywords • Use Quick Search Options such as the wildcard “@”

  7. Search Resources • The List Options offers a simple Search or Power Search • Search by Barcode, Type, Description, Availability, and more.

  8. Where do you check out Resources? • From the Log Resource Box • Will appear on the top of any page • Admin, Consultants, Staff, and Students can have access to find a resource to check in/out or reserve in item. • Barcode, Keyword, or Student ID can be used

  9. Where do you check out Resources? • From the Resource Listing • Quick Icon to use are the Arrow on the right • Clicking on the Names of the resource will display additional options.

  10. Where do you check out Resources? • From the Student Log Listing • Click on “Check resource out to Student?”

  11. Reserving a Resource as a Staff… • You can reserve an item for future use by disallowing the item to be checked out to any other student other than the student selected.

  12. Reserving a Resource as a Student… • From a Students account they can search and reserve an item. • From a Kiosk Mode enter the Resource barcode, keyword, title, or your student ID

  13. Emails on Items • EmailOverdue(Advanced) • ResoverDue(Advanced) • Resoverlist(Advanced)

  14. Report on Resources • Material Usage Report • The Report displays the materials that have been checked out over the assigned date range. First organized by resource type, the resources are listed with their usage over the date range: date/time checked out, date/time returned, student name. • Material Usage Total Time by? Report • Reserved Resource List
