  2. 5/1/17 May 1st is Mother Goose Day. Choose two nursery rhyme characters (such as Humpty Dumpty, Little Boy Blue, Georgie Porgie, Simple Simon, & Little Miss Muffet). Write about an encounter between these two characters. Period 2: Thesis due Wednesday-5/3 Period 3: Vocab Quiz #1 is tomorrow! Periods 6/7: Web Quest due today

  3. 5/2/17 The first full week in May is Be Kind to Animals Week. Write a poem or paragraph that expresses the importance of animals in your life.

  4. 5/3/17 Imagine that you are an animal living in the wild. What animal are you, and what is your favorite time of year? Explain.

  5. 5/4/17 May the 4th be with you Today is considered “Star Wars Day.” (since 1978) You have two options for a journal today: Describe your favorite Star Wars character. Describe both what they look like and their personality. You are given the chance to train as a Jedi with Yoda for the day. Where do you go? What happens and what do you learn? Random Trivia: In each Star Wars film, the line "I have a bad feeling about this" is spoken by one of the characters.

  6. 5/5/17 “Revenge of the Fifth” Speaking of revenge, reflect on your own life. Is there ever justification for revenge? What things in your life have made you vengeful? LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE TODAY!
