  4. Read Only Memory (ROM) BIOS uses Flash memory, a type of ROM.

  5. Storage Devices Include: • Hard Drive • 250 GigaBytes to 1 TeraByte (TB) in size

  6. B)Flash Memory Stick(Thumb Drive) • 1 GigaByte to 16GB in size • USB 2

  7. C)Floppy Drive (obsolete) -Only 1.44 MB per disk • D)CD-ROM -700 MB per disk -Burnable (R) or Rewritable (RW) -The write laser ad- vances much more slowly than the read laser.

  8. E)DVD Drive • 4 to 16 GB • R or RW F) Multi-Drive • Supports ALL CD and DVD formats! • $40 and up.

  9. BluRay Drive • Uses a Blue laser • Stores 25 GB (single layer) or 50 GB (double layer) • Expensive ($200 for player, $5 for a blank disk, $30 for a movie)
