Context and Positioning • Purpose : To prepare CATCs and RAs for change; promote awareness and understanding through consistent, credible, and simple messages, using the frame of reference of the stakeholder • Use in conjunction with follow-up conversations (or meetings) between AAMs and CATCs/RAs • Two formats • VOD (WebEx recording with follow-up survey sent by AAM) • Live (field delivers presentation) • General framing that accompanies VOD format: “Please view this prior to our meeting. It will give you a better idea of why we are evolving the program and what to expect. I (we) look forward to meeting with you on ______ when we can go into more details.” • Content: • High level overview of Academy Evolution • High level overview of future processes and roles • High level roadmap of future new technology features • Human side of preparing for change

Key Messages • We are evolving the Cisco Academy Networking program – change is coming • We are evolving the program because we have an opportunity to prepare ourselves for the next generation of learners; we want to help academies and students thrive • Cisco’s Networking Academy Evolution initiative is a union of technology and program process enhancements, designed to help academies and students thrive • You will benefit from these changes personally through role clarification, enhanced support, enhanced instructor professional development, and public recognition for your efforts and contributions • We will all benefit from these changes at the program level through; • Enhanced Academic Excellence • Enhanced Sustainability • Greater Transparency • Consistency in Standards and Program Support • Dissolved Boundaries – everyone, regardless of their role, will have broader access to both the information they need and to each other as resources. • Your AAM is here to support you every step of the way of the change • We will provide you with a set of tools and resources to help you manage change and navigate the outcome you want
