To avoid potential ESD damage, the recommendation is to treat all assemblies and components as if they are sensitive to ESD. • (1) All Surface Mounted components must be handled as electrostatic sensitive components.  • (2) Prevent static discharge failures to all semiconductors and modules containing ESD sensitive components by using appropriate ESD protective equipment.  • (3) Do not touch the component with bare hands, and always wear a grounded wrist strap or footwear. • For more detailed instructions on handling ESD sensitive components refer to JESD 625-A (Requirements for Handling ESD Sensitive Equipment).
