  1. WHY ME? QUESTIONS FOR SEEKERS

  2. What about Manasseh? 2 Kings 21:1-16 Is this forgivable? • Rebuilt the high places • Built altars for Baal • Built an Asherah • Worshipped host of heavn • Built altars in the temple • Sacrificed his children • Practiced witchcraft, divination, mediums, and spiritists • Put the Asherah in the temple • Did more wickedly than the Amorites • Filled Jerusalem with innocent bloodshed

  3. Will God Really Forgive Me? The LORD spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. Therefore the LORD brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh with hooks and bound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon. (2 Chronicles 33:10-11 ESV)

  4. And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God. (2 Chronicles 33:12-13 ESV)

  5. And he took away the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built on the mountain of the house of the LORD and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside of the city. He also restored the altar of the LORD and offered on it sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving, and he commanded Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel. (2 Chronicles 33:15-16 ESV)

  6. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. …If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:7-9 ESV)

  7. We cannot embrace God’s forgiveness if we are so busy clinging to past wounds and nursing old grudges. • T.D. Jakes Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25 ESV)

  8. Does He Really Love Me? For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. (Psalm 139:13-16 ESV) He loves you because He made you

  9. Does He Really Love Me? …even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love (Ephesians 1:4 ESV) He loves you because He has a place for you

  10. Does He Really Love Me? For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. (Romans 12:4-8 ESV) He loves you because He has a plan for you

  11. Does He Really Love Me? For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 ESV) God’s plans are always for good

  12. Can He Use Me? Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20 ESV) We must let Him in

  13. Can He Use Me? But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18 ESV) We must grow into a good fit

  14. Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything. George Bernard Shaw If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading. - unknown

  15. Can He Use Me? For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose… (1 Corinthians 12:14-20 ESV) God’s already chosen you for work

  16. What’s My Worth? “For God so loved the world, that he gave Real definition of love is… to give his only (begotten) Son, His unique, one of a kind, only one like Him… Son that whoever Defined as; whatever person, any person at all believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 ESV)

  17. What’s My Worth? Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13 ESV)
