  1. Fashion in 2019 – The New & Stylish From a designer to a philosophy, we talk about three fashion trends which are creating an uproar in 2019. Fashion is an ever-changing world. New trends, designers and styles come and go. But there are some which leave an indelible mark on the world. We talk about three such trends which are ruling the roost for now. 1.Alessandro Michele–Yes, this man is a trend in himself. Gucci’s current Creative Director, Alessandro Michele has not only breathed a fresh life into the brand, but has also created a whole frenzy of new styles which actually take a cue from the old. Vintage creations which are not only reminiscent of the design heritage of yesteryears, they are contemporary as well. Giving a boost to the current trend of streetwear, he is also dabbling into home décor and digital classiness to revive Gucci. Alessandro Michele is a brand.

  2. 2.Slow Fashion– An antithesis of fast fashion, Slow Fashion is making its presence felt in the world. Coined in 2007 by researcher, author, consultant and design activist Kate Fletcher, Slow Fashion is about designing, producing, consuming and living better and more consciously. Not time-based but quality-oriented, Slow Fashion is a different approach to doing business in which producers are more cognizant of the impact their products have on communities, eco-systems and labour. In the age of sustainability, Slow Fashion intermingles pleasure and fashion with awareness and responsibility. Luxury brands such as Eileen Fisher, Naadam, Elizabeth Suzann and Dear Frances are spearheading this philosophy.

  3. 3.Fendi Baguette– This iconic handbag by Fendi has been making women go wild for the past few decades now. Made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex & The City, Fendi Baguette catapulted the brand into pop culture. Created with functionality in mind, the bag fits snuggly between your arm and body – much like the French bread Baguette. Created in a myriad colours and styles, the Fendi Baguette is an extension of your attitude according to Silvia Venturini Fendi. For 2019 too, they have multiple constructions, with something to enchant everyone! Soumya Jain is the Chief Editor & CEO of LuxuryFacts.com.
