  1. Jaipur Rugs and Matteo Cibic Jaipur Wunderkammer Indian handmade rug maker, Jaipur Rugs and Italian designer Matteo Cibic take you on an eclectic experiential trip to Rajasthan through handmade rugs. Italian designer Matteo Cibic and Jaipur Rugs are showcasing a vibrant collection of handmade rugs at The Litta Variations / Opus 5, curated by Mosca Partners from 9th April to 14th April, 2019. The exhibition will showcase projects and collections of 22 exhibitors, over 65 designers from the international scene coming from 11 nations. The collection, named Jaipur Wunderkammer, is inspired by Cibic’s visit to Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is an installation that takes on a museum appearance, a room in the room with a collection of colors and shapes that overlap. The aim of this project is to communicate to the world the strong and quintessential heritage, culture and beauty behind Jaipur Rugs, its motherland and people.

  2. Cibic has imbued his creative universe with the peculiar architecture and colour of the city in 24 unique carpets. He has taken the ancient paintings and the architectonic sundial (Jantar Mantar) of the pink city and worked with a local painter maestro to design this collection.

  3. Through surreal rugs and acrobatic installations made using 2,500 year old art, Cibic and Jaipur Rugs are conveying the mission of showcasing a new contemporary India and creating a new sustainable production model for handmade carpets. http://www.matteocibicstudio.com/ https://www.jaipurrugs.com/
