The global ECF network‘Scientists for Cycling’ Mission Statement Scientists for Cycling is a global network of academics and individuals actively engaged in applied research, teaching and dissemination from all disciplines interested in cycling or cycling-related topics. The group works to exchange their knowledge and research in order to improve cycling.

  3. The global ECF network‘Scientists for Cycling’ Up to now: • 7 intern. colloquiums (4 as satellite events at Velo-city conferences) • 3 Networking events with all ECF’s networks at Velo-cities • Opportunities to present articles, books and projects through ECFmedia (e.g. S4C Newsletter) Tutzing Castle – Protestant Academy – Rotunde memberbenefits

The global ECF network‘Scientists for Cycling’ Main aims of the network: • Build a pro cycling scientific community • Build up a interdisciplinary research based approach to cycling advocacy • Assist in developing the Velo-city programs • Disseminate scientific-based publications on cycling Tutzing Castle – Protestant Academy – Nov 2013
