Our Latinos in Action Students • help children who are learning English as a second language in local schools • teach kids academic skills • help kids succeed • model responsibility, caring, self-discipline, and hard work • receive training in leadership, teaching methods, mentoring, job skills, and college preparation • make a difference in someone's life!

  9. Carina Flores • Once you come into this class, there is no way you can leave without building a strong friendship with the other students in the class. You learn to love and respect each person’s culture, personality, and opinions.

  10. Cristhian Valle • Before, I did not care about ESL students learning, but now I feel like the future of the kids is in my hands.

  11. Be Part of Latinos in Action! • 2.5 or higher GPA • Junior or Senior next year • Bilingual • Responsible • Caring • A desire to help kids • Available 7th period
