  14. Nasal M N Ng These 3 sounds prove that nasality itself IS NOT wrong! These sounds are suppose to be nasal The problem arises when the voice sounds shrilly or tinny

  15. Check for nasality • Look in the mirror. Say [ah] Then say [ng] (as in the word rung). Don't move your jaw. Can you feel the shift? Make sure that no air is escaping through your mouth on the [ng] even though your mouth is open. If you're making it properly, the [ng] will also stop when you pinch your nose.
