  5. Grammar Clauses As a class, we will read the section about clauses in the blue grammar book. (page 145). Label a piece of paper with the following: Your name, the date, a title (Clauses), and the page numbers (p. 145-146). On your paper, write down the definitions and another name for: independent clause subordinate (dependent) clause On your paper, list two strategies you can use when you encounter a subordinate clause in order to make it grammatically correct. 3. first strategy second strategy With a partner, complete Exercise 1 (1-8) on pages 145-146. Each student must label and complete the exercise on their own paper, but you may work together to come up with the answers. If you do not finish in class, you MUST complete this assignment for homework. (this is a 15 point classwork assignment)
