The following items should be included in all body paragraphs: *A topic sentencemust be debatable and shouldnot contain a concrete detail.*A concrete detail (relevant evidence)is an example, a quotation, or a paraphrase from a text. “For example...”*Commentary (the WHY)connects the concrete detail to the topic sentence. How does this detail show the validity of my topic sentence? “This shows that. . .” Follow this format for each paragraph:1.
