This course is designed to help you: • Philosophy of Education • Understanding the importance of and analyzes curricular integration in Primary English Preparation Program classrooms. • Demonstrate and understand how to align standards, goals ,instruction, outcomes and assessment. • Understand the necessity of collaboration with colleagues. Course Description • During the Professional Seminar, students review theoretical foundations for teaching that they have learned about teaching English in Grades 1-6. • Focus their thinking on the connection between theory and practice. • Student study and reflect on what is happening in the school . • Assume the responsibilities of a full time teacher in grades 1-6.   6. Course Design • This course depends on reading the course materials. Readings about different topics and issues related to teacher education. • Lecturing method will be utilize when introducing new concepts, or topics, • It depends on professional discussions ,presentations and reflections. Course Expectations • Cell phones should be turned off during the class. • Attendance is required. • Only official excuse for absence is accepted. • Respecting the scheduled time for the course. (Be on time). Students will not be allowed to enter the lecture after 15 minutes of the class time. • Participation and asking questions are expected in this class. Dr.Nesreen Al Homaid

Course Expectations • Respect to your instructor and your classmates is expected . • No makeup exam. • All assignments turned in late will be not be accepted due to continuous duties and tasks. • Work that show any sign of plagiarism (copying from the internet or from a classmate) will result in cancelling your work, and you will receive 0 for the assigned homework or project.
