Important Senior Dates Senior Banner Orders Due- May 8th Senior Awards Night- May 19th Senior Finals- May 21st & 22nd Cap & Gown Delivery- May 21st  Grad Night- Disneyland- May 26th- 27th Senior Check-Out- May 28th & 29th Senior Breakfast- May 29th Senior Walk-Out Rally- May 29th Graduation Rehearsal- June 2nd – time TBA Graduation- June 3rd – 3:00 pm Grad Night Ticket Sales- November 1st- February 7th Cap/Gown on campus orders- October 17th, November 7th & December 11th @ lunch Winter Dance- February 1st Last Day to order a cap/gown- February 26th @ lunch   Grad Night Permission Slips Due- March 6th Mr. Titan- March 13th  Honor Cord Verification Due- March 13th  MORP Dance- March 27th Junior/Senior Prom- April 25th 

  3. Counseling Presentation • Grad Check Meetings with ALL seniors • FAFSA- important to have it filled out ASAP • Promise Grant for community colleges • Middle Income Scholarship for the UC’s

  4. Yearbook • Purchase senior ads through www.theyearboookcompany.com • Schedule senior photos with Cherished Memories Photography- cherishedmemoriesphotography.com  OR 951-304-4133 • Senior pictures MUST be taken by November 29th to be included in the yearbook.

  5. Grad Night Grad Night will be held at Disneyland & California Adventure again this year!! • Ticket Prices are $210 w/ASB card, $225 w/o ASB card • May 26th – 9 am to May 27th – 4 am • Tickets will be on sale from November 1st – February 7th • Tickets can be purchased online or at the bookkeeper- They WERE NOT included in the senior package this year and Disney passes are not accepted. • Permission Slips must be turned in to room 555 by March 6th- they can be picked up tonight at the grad night table.

  6. Senior Banners • Parents have the option to purchase senior banners that will be displayed at graduation. • Banners display the students name and college or military institution they are attending after graduation. • Order forms can be found online on the graduation page of our school website.

  7. Senior Yard Signs • Yard Sign is included in the Senior package – those will be delivered beginning May 1st. • $10- on sale tonight, at the bookkeeper during the year and available online. • Any signs purchased online will be available May 1st.

  8. Senior Class Shirts • Shirts are designed and sold by the Senior Class • $10 for a short sleeve shirt • $15 for a long sleeve shirt • Shirts can be ordered tonight at the Senior class table or at the bookkeeper • Orders must be placed by October 16th • Shirts will be delivered to students at school once the orders are received.

  9. Graduating with honors Criteria for graduating with honors can be found on the  graduation and parent resources page of our school website. • Academic department chairs are responsible for identifying the students who have earned an honor cord in their department. • Seniors will also be asked to complete a verification form so they can identify the subjects in which they believe they should receive an honor cord. • Honor Cord verification forms will be available February 1, 2020 from the counseloing office and all senior English teachers. • Due to Dr. D'Amico by March 15, 2020.

  10. Graduation & Grad Tickets Graduation- Wednesday June 3rd at 3:00 pm- Storm Stadium • Everyone who enters the stadium needs a ticket- the only exception is babies in arms who will sit on a lap. • Every student receives 6 tickets • We are working on a plan for students to receive additional tickets- more information to come. • Tickets are given out by the students' counselor when they check out May 28th or 29th.

  11. Cap and Gowns ALL seniors need a cap, gown and medallion to walk at graduation. Orders must be done with Socal Recognition and can be done 3 ways: 1) Tonight at the Socal Recognition table 2) On campus @ lunch during one of our ordering days 3) On-line at Socal Recognitions website- www.socalrecognition.com **Students CAN use a friend's or sibling's gown BUT, it must be from the past 2 years as the gown design changed 2 years ago.  If this option is chosen, you must purchase a 2020 tassel and TC medallion (if you don't have one).

  12. Cap and gown orders Parents have 2 Options for ordering: • 1) Purchase a cap and gown for $50 - cap/gown/medallion package is yours to keep after the ceremony- can be done online or in person tonight or at school on one of our ordering dates. • 2) Borrow a cap and gown - the district pays a rental fee for your student- cap/gown/medallion package is worn for the ceremony and returned immediately afterwards- BEFORE students leave the field.  There is no cost to families to “borrow” a cap and gown but an order form must be completed.  This cannot be done online- it must be done tonight or at school on one of our ordering dates.
