It is the main component of power protection architecture.   8. Product Overview Product of Interest: UPS UPS Segment by kVA Online UPS has a double conversion power circuit with an inverter. These systems are used to provide continuous power supply to equipment. During load shed or blackouts, the supply is automatically switched to battery mode without any delay. Benefits of using an online UPS system are that it provides the highest level of protection from all types of power problems such as high voltage surges, frequency variation, etc. It is mainly used in IT/ITES industry, offices, banks, etc Offline UPS: It consists of an AC/DC & DC/AC inverter with a battery, switch, low pass filter and a surge suppressor. It is also called standby UPS. The system becomes operational by setting AC input as a primary source. Inverter remains on standby and becomes active only when power fails, and transfer switch transfers electrical load to the backup unit. Product Overview Product of Interest: UPS Less than 5kVA:UPS systems with power ratings less than 5kVA are used in desktop PCs, laptops, desktop PCs, LCDs, Wi-Fi routers, CFLs, mobile chargers, modems, small offices, storage devices, network switches and electronic devices used in banks, hospitals, shopping malls, amusement parks, retail outlets, hotels, ITeS, educational and financial institutions, etc. 5.1kVA-50kVA: UPS systems with power ratings between 5.1kVA-20kVA are used in hotels, semiconductor industries, SMBs, ATMs, counting machines, data centers, BPOs, IT/ITeS, BFSI, Telecom and hospitality sectors.
