Jabala Action Research Organization In Murshidabad and other rural districts, as well as in poorer urban areas, a very high chance exists of girl children to be forced/deceived into prostitution or being child married Cultural and religious traditions limit community co-operation with government on prevention Non-formal education centers provide work readiness training and cultural therapy, non-formal education to counter the trend Nominated for National Child Protection Award by WB govt. Run by volunteer working professionals

Bus Project through WAH Bus has been purchased and modifications done Total expenditure on the bus till date has been Rs 8.25 lacs which includes the cost of the bus, fabrication, accessories and insurance Asha Dallas, WAH 2007 supported Rs. 7,83,600 The team is in the process of being hired a volunteer has been identified to co-ordinate the project
