Auto Alley - West Industry & Home Team meetings scheduled Feb. 16 in Rome and Dalton: • Update original Auto Alley grant results, and 2010 activities: –WRC’s –Profiles –STEM training (HS) • Introduce new, smaller NW Georgia WR Regions –Expanded industry base • Review Sustaining grant objectives: –Go for Gold –Career Pathways documentation (survey results) –STEM training (MS) –Support Industry Network

Auto Alley – West (cont’d) Industry & Home Team meetings • Introduce GWRRIN to larger industry base – explain training opportunities & requirements – Review Industry Survey results – Ask for commitment to WR – Organize leadership • Introduce GAMA to automotive parts and materials manufacturers

Auto Alley – West update • CWRC counties (6) – Walker – Catoosa – Whitfield – Chattooga – Floyd – Polk • 64 WR Job Profiles completed since beginning of original Auto Alley grant in GNTC service area • GNTC now responsible for technical college service delivery in all 9 Auto Alley – West counties
