Internet Safety Training • Update board Electronic Use policy to include this by July 1, 2012 (new CIPA requirement) • WSSDA/OSPI updated template available by mid-February and posted online • OSPI bulletin and WSSDA newsletter coming out as well • Will be available at: http://www.k12.wa.us/EdTech/Policy.aspx

Title IID/EETT Carryover Funds • Title IID formula (flow-through) “regular” & ARRA carryover funds available next week • Competitive EETT funds: only TL21 Cohort 2 grantees will receive carryover funds • Available through iGrants (Form Packages 236, 500 & 503): https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us/iGrants/

  9. State Legislative Session • Two bills concerning Open Educational Resources (OER): • HB 2336/SB 6460 – Policy only • HB 2337/SB 6231 – Funding to develop K-12 OER materials • First budget proposal likely to be released soon after Feb.16 revenue projection
