Travel outside the program – must inform director Zero alcohol abuse & drug use policy Local laws & behavior – violations can result in harsher penalties not just failing/leaving program Common sense/Street smarts: be conscientious! ESPECIALLY nightlife, money/ATMs, traveling, passport and personal belongings & DRINKING – decision making, unfamiliar country WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY Know your emergency numbers Report to Director and Police NYU files a report with Public Safety SAFETY • #1 TIP: • TAKE RESPONSIBILITY • FOR YOURSELF
