17. (2) 金字塔結構 • 必須區分主旨與其他細節的不同。主旨較籠統，細節較明確，後者快速略過，閱讀速度就會快。 • There has been a definite shift away from goods-producing and toward service-producing jobs during the past two decades. In fact, nearly 92 percent of the 33 million new jobs created during the last 15 years were in services. Retail and wholesale trade, together with finance, insurance, and real estate, creates around 2 million new jobs each year.

18. (3) 增加字彙 • 建議從分類單字的概念著手，多接觸自己專業科系外的單字，每一領域(生物、天文、法律、藝術、文學)至少都能熟讀幾篇文章，以掌握該領域的基本單字。

23. 插入句 • Look at the four squares [] that indicate where the following sentence could be added to the passage.全文有四處方塊，插入句最適合置於何處？ ＊插入句多半與上下文有關鍵字連結。

24. 綜合理解題 ＊須全文回顧，預留多一點時間 • 全文摘要--摘錄每段重點 • 表格整理
