  2. IT’S A GIRL! AnnaEleanor Roosevelt was born October 11th, 1884 in Manhattan, New York.

  3. A Family Eleanor`sparents were Elliot Roosevelt and Anna Hall. Elliot Roosevelt had many nicknames for Eleanor. For example, “ Little golden hair” or “Little Nell”.

  4. Moving Before Eleanor was ten both of her parents died. After they died Eleanor was sent to live with her grandmother in New York.

  5. At school Atthe age of 15 Eleanor was sent to Allenswood boarding school. A surprise occurred to Eleanor when she was coming home from school. Her cousin Franklin was on board the train!

  6. Married Eleanor and Franklin were married on March 17, 1905.

  7. It’s A Baby! On May 3, 1906 their first child, Anna Eleanor Roosevelt was born.

  8. More Children One year later they had their second child, James on December 23, 1907. But their third child Franklin Jr., died when he was still a baby because of the disease, Influenza.

  9. A Disease Franklin was stricken with Polio or Poliomyitis.

  10. A First Lady Eleanor became the first lady in 1932.

  11. Helping Out During World War II Eleanor joined the red cross and helped wounded solders.

  12. Death Franklin Delano Roosevelt died April 12, 1945. Anna Eleanor Roosevelt died November 7, 1962 at the age of 78.
