  3. Barrier • (n.) something that blocks or bars movement or passage • The mountains acted as a barrier to the wind. • SYNONYMS: wall, obstacle, barricade, roadblock, obstruction, restraint • ANTONYMS: entrance, passageway

  4. Conceive • (v.) to start something; to think up or begin to understand • I began to conceive a plan on how to get all my work done. • SYNONYMS: form, formulate, develop, devise, imagine, think
