  4. Would You…? • One side of the room a 1 (“Absolutely Not”), the other side a 10 (“Absolutely”). Middle a 5 (“Not Sure”). • I would yell at a referee or umpire while watching a game. • I would sneak into the movies if I knew I wouldn’t get caught. • I would tell my friend he has bad breath. • I would tell my date (on our first date) she has bad breath. • I would cry while watching a movie. • I would be embarrassed to talk about sex with my parents or grandparents. • I would go out on a blind date with someone I was told wasn’t attractive. • I would stop and ask for directions if I was lost. • I would tell the store clerk if he made a $20 mistake in my favor on my purchase. • I would have cosmetic surgery. • I would lie about my age. • I would crash a wedding reception. • I would lie about having an accident with my parents car. • I would raise my hand in class if the teacher asked who believed in JC.

Would You…? • How many times did you look at where others were standing before you decided where you were going to stand? • What is the toughest part about taking a stand for what you believe when you think the people you’re with will disagree with you? • How do you feel when you’re not sure what to do? • What strong beliefs do you have that you won’t compromise?

The Christ & The Hour (12:20-36) • The Hour • Jn 12:23 • “23 Jesus replied to them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.” (12:23) • Jn 12:24 • “24 " I assure you: Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces a large crop.” (12:24)

The Cross & The Glory (12:32) • Lifted Up (12:32-33) • 32 As for Me, if I am lifted up [g] from the earth I will draw all [people] to Myself." 33 He said this to signify what kind of death He was about to die.” (12:32-33) • Glory of Men vs. the Glory of God (12:43) • “For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.” • Who is the glory?

  10. Crowd, Critics, or Cross? • I ask you then, are you with the Crowd, with the Critics, or with the Christ? • And if you are with Christ, what side are you on in the Conflict? • Do you love the glory of men more than the glory of God?”
