  4. Facts! .The river Nile is about 6,670Km (4,160 miles) the longest river in the world. It is also 1-2Km wide .The river Nile got its name from the Greek word Nelios which means river valley.

  6. The river Nile flooded between June and September. It flooded because of summer rain and melting snow. It caused lots of damage to the buildings and was difficult for the people who live there.
