  2. Lindsay Thompson, TSL&A Team Leader Lindsay has direct responsibility for the management of CO’s State, Provincial and Association client roster. This includes day-to-day management of the collection and direct support functions for CO’s State Library subscribers, the Public Library Data Set (PLDS – over 1200 annual participants), and the Association of College & Research Libraries annual Trends Survey (over 1400 annual participants). Formerly with Statistics Canada, Lindsay has been active with CO for the past five+ (5) years. Lindsay possesses very strong ‘front-line’ implementation and support skills. Education University of Toronto Honors B.A. in French, Second Language Learning Bachelor of Commerce

  3. Ryan Patrick, TSL&A Project Team Member Ryan joined the Counting Opinions team in the Fall of 2011. An experienced project manager, Ryan spent a number of years with the Ontario Library Association (OLA). His experience included the management of a successful pan-national, co-operative resource center and the annual OLA Super-Conference (Canada’s largest annual gathering of library professionals). Since joining CO, Ryan has been working with Lindsay in the State and Association subscribers’ support area as well as leading a number of innovative consulting projects on behalf of CO subscribers. Ian Reid,TSL&A Project Executive A project manager with over 10 years of experience, working in the IT, consulting, and public sectors managing a wide range of projects in scale, scope and duration. Ian has front-line, “hands on” experience with all of CO services. Ian has lead and managed the customer implementation and support area team at Counting Opinions for the past five (5) years. Education University of Ottawa B.Soc. Honors Economics with concentration in English Counting Opinions Senior Executive Team

Carl Thompson, President An IT professional and entrepreneur with 30 years of technology management and software development experience across large multi-national and international firms, managing technology deployment on large-scale projects. Carl is a founder and shareholder of Counting Opinions. Summary of Skills Over 17 years of experience delivering on-line Internet-based solutions. Over 26 years managing and leading the development and deployment of integrated solutions. Successful in providing leadership and vision in large business-to-business and business-to-consumer solutions. Strong experience with a variety of technology platforms and environments. Successful in saving organizations time and money by delivering appropriate solutions. Other relevant experience includes large-scale development projects for multi-national banks, insurance and resource companies. Education University of Waterloo , Honors B.
