  3. THE REMIS JOURNEY WHY HAVE REPORTS THE JOURNEY or WHAT DO WE WANT TO REPORT ON & WHY?

  4. WHY HAVE REPORTS • MULTIPLE FUNDING PARTNERS CONTRIBUTE TO RWf+ (ESF/FSF/DAF/PARTNER FUNDING ) – THEY NEEDED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GETTING FOR THEIR MONEY. • WE NEEDED TO COORDINATE AND EVALUATE MULTIPLE SERVICES i.e. PROGRESS OF CURRENT SERVICE PROVISION AND FUTURE SERVICE PLANNING • RECORD AND REPORT TO PARTNERS ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PARTNERSHIP STRUCTURE i.e. WERE SERVICES REFERRING TO EACH OTHER AND WAS THE CLIENT’S JOURNEY EFFECTIVE AND COORDINATED.

  5. INFORMATION REQUIRED AUGUST & DECEMBER 2007 PARTNERS (BOTH FUNDING & DELIVERY) COMPLETED A SERIES OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SESSIONS THAT ASKED: • WHAT INFORMATION DO WE WANT TO RECORD AND WHY? • THE IMPORTANCE OF GATHERING THIS INFORMATION TO THE DELIVERY OF THE RWf+ PROGRAMME I.E. HIGH, MEDIUM OR LOW • HOW DO PARTNERS CURRENTLY RECORD THIS INFORMATION • HOW OFTEN DO WE WANT TO REPORT ON THE INFORMATION

  6. HIGH PRIORITY

  7. REPORT STRUCTURE • PROVIDE INFORMATION IN A WIDE RANGE OF REPORT FORMATS I.E. ESF, FSF,JCP • ALLOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIMITED ADDITIONAL REPORTS TO MEET PARTNERS/FUNDERS NEEDS • PROVIDE SERVICES WITH ACCESS TO STANDARD REPORTS ON THEIR SPECIFIC SERVICE PROVISION.

  8. SUMMARY • INVOLVE YOUR PARTNERS IN THE PROCESS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE • ASK YOURSELF WHAT INFORMATION YOU NEED TO COLLATE AND REPORT ON AND WHY, YOU MAY NOT EVEN NEED A SYSTEM. • BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT STANDARD REPORTS WILL BE PROVIDED AND POTENTIAL REPORT NEEDS, SOME SYSTEM PROVIDERSCHARGE EXTRA FOR REPORT DEVELOPMENT. • ESTABLISH A USER GROUP FOR THE SYSTEM THAT WILL ACT AS A CLEARING HOUSE FOR CHANGE REQUEST INCLUDING ADDITONAL REPORT DEVELOPMENT.
