  3. B. Joseph the principal character from here on out. 1. More chapters are devoted to him – why? 2. He represents Jesus! a) Joseph gets a “raw deal.” b) The Lord uses him!

  4. II. Genesis 37:1-4 A. This “bad report” not a fabrication. 1. Simeon and Levi slaughtered a village! a) Most of Joseph’s brothers were less than men of integrity.

  5. 2. Joseph was just being honest! B. Daddy dressed him funny! 1. Parents favoring one child over the other - a mistake!

  6. a) Joseph treated differently. (1) Some kids are just easier to love! (2) He was easier to get along with. (a) Matthew 10:34-38 (b)   Joseph’s brother disliked him.
