  2. Objectives We needed to - • increase our numbers to bring down waiting times and increase our activity • tailor this to the way we work

  3. Available staff • OTs 2 x 0.89 + 1 x 0.78wte = 2.56 wte • 2 x full time ADIs • Me to plug the gaps

  4. This required a major balancing act

  5. Wrightington strongly believes in the value of two person assessments OT ADI

  6. Part time staff Demands of the NHS Annual leave Training/study Sickness Equates to 42/52 weeks of productivity per person Considerations…….

  7. Actions • Decided on what was a reasonable amount of assessments for each OT to do • 1 assessment = 4.75 hours of OT time • Review of the report writing process • Everyone signed up to this pattern of working

  8. Plan A – One ADI available – assessments available up to 17 Driving Assessments Passenger Assessments

  9. Plan B – Two ADIs available – assessments available up to 21 Driving Assessments

  10. Job Done? (If only it was that simple………)
