  4. Lab Safety • Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each chemical used is available to you upon request. • Know where 1st aid kit, eye wash and other safety equipment is.

  5. Lab Safety Please Report The Following to the instructor: • Injuries • Broken equipment • Broken glass or tools

  6. Lab Attire • Lab coat • Gloves • Goggles • No open-toed shoes

  7. Preparation • Read assignment before attending lab • Be prepared to attend a field trip: sunscreen, hat, water (rain or shine)

  8. Behavior • Have a positive attitude! • Work cooperatively with group members • Field trips: You represent the school. Be respectful.

  9. Dispose Biological material

  10. Dispose Sharps

  11. Clean-up • Everyone participates • Disinfect your work area • Put equipment away

  12. Most Important • Keep you eyes open to your surroundings. • If your not sure, ASK!
