Target Audience & Educational Objectives • This software is meant to target a young audience such as elementary school students in an English class • The objectives include • Learning the different grammar terms • verb, noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, interjection, preposition and conjuction • Identifying them correctly in a sentence

  3. Instructional USE • This software is clearly an instructional game through which students have one chance to select the appropriate word in the sentence • Each correct answer is rewarded with a banana for the gorilla • There is no penalty for an incorrect answer, rather it displays the correct answer to better prepare you for next time

  4. Strengths & weaknesses A glossary of grammar terms is displayed at the bottom There should be a middle level Children might not be impressed with the simplicity of the graphics or lack of animation • Sentences are hardly ever repeated • Two levels of difficulty • Simple enough for any student to use without prior instruction • Quick feedback – no lengthy videos or tedious reading
